This site, or one of its iterations, has been mentioned in a few printed
and on-line publications, and is linked to from some prestigious sites,
including:
- The site was the The Learning
Page's Site of the Month in September, 2005.
- In August 2005, the Not in the Constitution
page was listed on Digg and it became a
featured link on dozens of blogs.
- On July 19, 2005, a Texas caller into C-SPAN's Washington Journal call-in
show mentioned the site as a good online resource for getting information on
the Constitution. The show was focusing on a new law slipped into a 2004
spending bill that requires all federal employees and students in schools
that get federal funds to get training on the
Constitution on Constitution Day (September 17).
- On June 15, 2005, the artist who draws the Arlo and Janis cartoon strip mentioned
my site on his site, and that mention generated over a thousand hits. I had
never even heard of Arlo and Janis - go figure.
- On February 2, 2005, the site was featured as a reference in a lengthy
article about the push to amend the Constitution to allow foreign-born
Presidents in the Los
Angeles Times.
- The site was chosen as a featured site by Family First on November 1, 2004.
- The site was included in a list of sites about the Constitution on the Explore Freedom website, which
was featured in print, radio, and television ads in 2004.
- The site was the Editor's Pick at Alexa.com on February 28, 2004.
- In the midst of discussion of a marriage definition amendment in February
2004, the site got many hits from various sources, including FoxNews, NPR,
and the web sites of
NBC stations.
- On November 25, 2003, the Constitution Page got
prominent mention in a
story in the Washington Post.
- On October 10, 2003, the Wall of Separation
Letter Page was prominently mentioned on a resource
page for Now with Bill Moyers.
- On August 25, 2001, C-SPAN's
Washington Journal program featured the site and the Webmaster live
on the air. If you're watching C-SPAN's video archive, the feature starts at
57:17 into the video.
- Astute listeners may have heard the Webmaster's name mentioned on NPR on
August 2, 2001, correcting reporter Robert Seigel and President Jimmy Carter
on a constitutional point (listen with
RealPlayer)
